Many of you will have used or heard of the Cyrano Workbench and Production products and may have wondered what happened to the Cyrano products which seemed to disappear at the end of 2001. Cyrano SA was, in fact, placed in receivership under the control of the French courts and then liquidated at the end of 2001.

The Intellectual Property Rights to the Cyrano product range were acquired by another French company, Quotium Technologies in the second quarter of 2002. Many of the French Development team of Cyrano joined Quotium to continue working with the Database and Load Testing products.

Quotium have continued to develop and release new versions of the products. They now have version 3.3 of Workbench that works with ASE 12.5 and version 3.0 of Production that has seen the Client completely rewritten as well as supporting ASE 12.5.

There's also a Quotium Workbench version for Microsoft SQL Server.

They have now established an International Dealer Network which includes a distributor, Eureka Software Ltd, here in the UK.
